Well, the past 4 weeks have pretty much flown by! We are 16 weeks today, and go back for another pointless appointment tomorrow :) I guess I am underwhelmed by my OB appointments because I have so many resources at my fingertips...I can listen to my baby's heartbeat or even look at my baby pretty much every day, so I have no worries that I can't feel any movement yet.
I haven't gained any weight (in fact, I am still less that I was when we found out we were pregnant), but my body shape is definitely starting to change. My biggest problem in the past few weeks has been feeling AWFUL in my clothes...a trip to the store will definitely be in order sometime soon. But, still really no bump to speak of. Kinda depressing! Just this week I have been starting to FEEL a lot more pregnant (can feel a definitely fullness in my bump area, especially when I sit down, and have had to pee every 14 minutes), but still not looking pregnant. I can tell that my little baby is starting to make everything in my belly move up and out a little bit, but definitely not noticeably pregnant.
This was my most treasured discovery of the past few weeks, thanks to Pinterest. Kept me from being a "sweatpants are all that fit me right now!" hot mess.
This is Baby Gibson at 13 weeks. This is one of my favorite pictures ever! Such a great ultrasound, he or she was cooperating perfectly :)
I started taking "bump pictures" at 12 weeks, but so far they all look the same, lol. Nothing there aside from what I have had since way before this baby was growing!
This was taken at 15 weeks. Baby is getting a lot more wiggly and a lot less cooperative :)
My mothers day picture, taken halfway between 15 and 16 weeks. I can really tell how much less room baby has to move around!
I have had a gut feeling that the baby is a girl (much like I had a gut feeling that it was twins, lol), but I have had some very strange dreams the past two nights that the baby was a boy (much like I had some strange dreams that the baby was twins). Two nights ago, I had a dream that the baby came home from the hospital with papers that said it was a boy named "Stormer Gibson," lol. Last night I had a dream that I was changing the diaper and I pulled it off and exposed a little teeny uncircumcised weenie, lol. But I just feel that it's a girl! We find out in two weeks :)
